Signild was built in 1961 in Summa, Finland, under the guidance of the famous shipbuilder N. Seppälä. The ship is 13 meters long and 4 meters wide. Initially, it served as a shop ship on Finnish inland waters and was later converted for travel. In 2018, the ship arrived in Tartu and underwent a thorough renovation to offer the best sailing experiences on the Emajõgi River, Lake Võrtsjärv, and Lake Peipsi. The ship is equipped with everything you need: a sun deck, a salon with tables, a sauna, a toilet, and a kitchenette. During the trip, drinks and snacks are available for purchase. There is also a sailor-travel guide on board who introduces the surroundings and the ship, answers your questions, and assists if needed. If it’s an especially good day, the captain will share stories about the ships and the river. And we usually have an especially good day…
